Texas Immersive Institute

Highlights

Raised over $500,000 from sponsors, foundations, and external stakeholders to support institute initiatives Fall 2022.
Launching in July 2021, the institute has continued to flourish at the University of Texas at Austin as my internship transformed into becoming its first full-time hire, with over 150 directly affiliated students, faculty, and stakeholders.

Collaborated and established international and national relationships with the following: NAVER Z, Dell Technologies, Netspend, Austin PBS, MITRE, UT School of Nursing, VARJO, Texas Innovation Center, YETI, D-Box, Accenture., and Additional partners

Administrator and manager of all initiatives of the institute. Including public relations, marketing, projects, and Immersive Lab.
Worked closely with P.I.s , researchers, designers, developers, clients, sponsors, and partners to guarantee full delivery.
- Mentored 3 projects and teams from Social Impact Build Fest for 6 months throughout virtual and augmented reality prototype development.

Organized and produced institute’s first annual events: Fall Think & Do Symposium, Social Impact Build Fest, End of Year Immersive Showcase, and the student and faculty trip to Infinity Festival Hollywood.
Coordinated 3-day Austin tour for Future of Media Dutch delegation and connected with NVIDIA, Atmosphere, Capital Factory, Double A Labs, and SXSW May 2022.
